Portraits

In this unit I took portraits of dancers, candids of students in other classes and photos from people in our class. What I liked about portrait photography was how the photos focus on mostly one person. To edit my photo of the dancer I made the whole background black which helped make the dancer pop out more. I also made her dress more white and turned up the brightness. I think one of the strongest photos out of these is the day of the dead photo. My intention was to get a clear photo with good lighting. To achieve this image I made sure the camera was focused and blackened out the background.
